About me

I’m Luca Malisan, I was born in 1980 and I live in Bertiolo, a small town near Udine, in Friuli (northeastern Italy). I read comic books since I was a child but I started working on them when I was 17: I attended some lessons held by Davide Toffolo and then I tried to get better by myself and with the help of the friends of “Fame!”. With them we founded a group, that now has become Associazione Culturale Fame Comics, that published my early works.

My main job is the colorist for several french publishers. The french publishers I work with are Glénat, Delcourt, SoleilVents d’Ouest, Humanoïdes Associés, and Clair de Lune. In Italy some works of mine were published by Sergio Bonelli Editore, Panini Comics, Kowalski Editore, Coniglio Editore, Free Books and Gruner+Jahre/Mondadori. I work as a colorist for Marvel USA too.

In May 2009 “La Croisade des Enfants” was issued in France by Soleil; it’s my first book in France where I realized both art & colors.

Since then, I draw other books in France, published by SoleilGlénat and Delcourt.

Now I’m drawing on two series:
– in France: “Les Seigneurs de la Terre”, by Fabien Rodhain for Glènat Editions;
– in Italy: “Dragonero”, by Luca Enoch & Stefano Vietti for Sergio Bonelli Editore.

In september 2008 my two friends (Dimitri and Paolo) and I founded a studio: please visit the Gotem Studio website for more information!
