About me
I’m Luca Malisan, I’m 29 and I live in Bertiolo, a small town near Udine, in Friuli (northeastern Italy). I read comic books since I was a child but I started working on them whan I was 17: I attended some lessons held by Davide Toffolo and then I tried to get better by myself and with the aid of the friends of “Fame!”. With them we founded a group, that now is become Associazione Culturale Fame Comics, that published my early (and some current) works.
My main job now is the colorist for some French publishers. The french publishers I work with are Soleil, Glénat, Delcourt, Vents d’Ouest, , Humanoïdes Associés, and Clair de Lune. In Italy some works of mine were published by Kowalski Editore, Coniglio Editore, Free Books and Gruner+Jahre/Mondadori. I work as a colorist for Marvel USA too.
In May 2009 “La Croisade des Enfants” was issued in France by Soleil; it’s my first book in France where I realized both art & colors.
In July 2010 I draw another book in France: “La Conjuration de Cluny”, written by Didier Alcante, with colors by Paolo Francescutto and published by Glènat.
In september 2008 my two friends (Dimitri and Paolo) and I founded a studio: please visit the Gotem Studio website for more information!
